I WANT OUT..

I do not belong in this town.. I seriously cannot wait to get out of Emory. I am so different from everyone at my school. They are all worried about their boyfriends, and  what girls are saying about them.. worried about little things. Acting stupid to get attention. I just want to get out in the world and discover and learn.. learn about other cultures, learn things I won’t learn in Emory.   The people in Emory live in such a bubble.. so closed off to anything “weird” or “different”. It is beyond frustrating..

At the Addison Airshow last week. plannnes.

God’s spirit beckons. There are things to do and places to go!

Wise Words

A few days ago my mom told me that I am like the President’s daughter.. basically telling me that the daughter of a President never has to worry about being taken care of or getting shoes when she needs them. She doesn’t worry and guess, she has faith in her father that he will provide everything she needs. In the same way if I have faith in God, he will provide for me in every way.

“But ask in faith, never doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind; for the doubter, being double-minded and unstable in every way must not expect to receive anything from the Lord. – James 1.6-8”
